No, it’s not “Hey Dude"!’

Teenagers these days. I overheard one saying recently he was in love with this “cool Beatles tune called Hey Dude!”

OK, that didn’t happen, but I made you laugh, right?

Well that’s what passes for humor around here.

Seriously, if you’re reading, welcome to my new blog. Why a blog on a website where I sell music faders?

Why not?

Search rankings, entertainment, and the occasional sharing of a useful idea is the gist of it.

I also wanted a place to be able to share behind the scenes info on what it’s like to make a physical product and sell it. Everyone has jumped on board the digital bandwagon these days - and for good reason! Honestly, selling physical products sucks! And to manufacture them AND distribute them AND support them…WHEW! I must be outta my mind!

So why then?

Dunno for sure, except I can tell you, I’ve always loved fixing things, and figuring things out. I grew up watching and helping my dad repair everything, from heavy duty jobs like replacing a starter motor (when you don’t have a lift!), to fixing washing machines and the odd appliance.

You name it - it broke - and we fixed it!

It was a great entre into the world of mechanical things, and I love my dad for it.

Fast forward a few years later (thanks Alanis!), and I wanted some high quality music faders. After some research I decided to make my own, and the rest is history.

This will NOT be a “selling blog” where I try to tell you how great my faders are! That’s what the store is for! Although I will make an occasional post about the “making of” a particular unit, with some juicy tid-bits for you.

So thanks for reading, and I’ll do my best to make posts that will bring a smile, alert you to something useful, or share something fun or valuable!

Have a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening, and I’ll see you next Tuesday ;)
